Multi-layer medical review Content passes through planning, authoring, expert review and regular updates.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how RxnCure – a digital healthcare platform by Vitmeds India Private Limited – creates, reviews and updates clinical and health-related content across:

  • Medicine pages (prescription & OTC).
  • Diagnostic and radiology test descriptions.
  • Doctor & speciality explainer pages.
  • Health articles, FAQs and product-education content.

Our goal is to support informed decision-making while staying aligned with Indian laws, guidelines and best practices.

Not a substitute for your doctor The information on RxnCure is for educational purposes only. Always consult a registered medical practitioner for personal advice and emergencies.

2. Editorial & medical governance model

RxnCure follows a three-layer governance structure for medical content:

2.1 Core Clinical & Content Team

Includes:

  • Qualified doctors from multiple specialties (MBBS / MD / MS, etc.).
  • Registered pharmacists (B.Pharm / M.Pharm or equivalent).
  • Clinical content writers & editors with healthcare backgrounds.

2.2 External Experts & Advisors

For specialised topics, we may consult external subject-matter experts such as senior consultants, super-specialists, or academicians. Their input is clearly tagged in our internal review notes.

2.3 Compliance & Quality Layer

A separate compliance function tracks regulatory changes (e.g. India-specific drug schedules, telemedicine guidelines, DPDP, etc.) and reviews high-risk categories like:

  • Schedule H / X medicines and controlled substances.
  • Critical-care drugs and emergency use content.
  • Diagnostic tests related to HIV, hepatitis, genetics and other sensitive areas.
Multi-disciplinary Regulation-aware India-specific protocols

3. Editorial workflow – from idea to published page

Every clinical content asset on RxnCure passes through a documented workflow. For medicines, lab tests and health articles, the steps are:

1
Planning & scope definition

We identify user needs (symptoms, conditions, medicines, tests) and define: target audience, reading level, disclaimers and clinical depth.

2
Source gathering & research

Authors compile credible sources such as Indian and international guidelines, peer-reviewed journals, pharmacopeias, and approved SmPC / PI documents.

3
Drafting in user-friendly language

Content is written in clear, conversational English (and later translated into Indian languages) while preserving scientific accuracy and dosage details where allowed by law.

4
Medical & pharmacy review

A qualified doctor or pharmacist checks indications, contraindications, side-effects, interactions and dosage ranges for appropriateness and safety.

5
Compliance & risk check

High-risk categories undergo an additional compliance review for alignment with Indian drug schedules, telemedicine norms and marketplace rules.

6
Final language & readability pass

Editors verify clarity, tone, reading level and translations. Jargon is replaced with simple explanations wherever possible.

7
Publishing & versioning

The page is published with metadata (author, reviewer, last reviewed date, internal version number) and is brought into our monitoring and update cycle.

For shorter interface copy (CTAs, feature labels, microcopy), a simplified version of this workflow is used, but safety and compliance checks are still applied where needed.

4. Source hierarchy & references

We prioritise trusted, up-to-date references. Typical source types include:

  • Indian and international treatment guidelines and position statements.
  • Drug regulators and formularies (e.g. CDSCO notices, essential medicines lists).
  • Standard pharmacology and internal medicine textbooks.
  • Peer-reviewed journals, meta-analyses and systematic reviews.
  • Approved Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) or Prescribing Information.

Wherever possible, we highlight the “last reviewed” date on content that impacts clinical decision-making, and we avoid relying solely on single, outdated studies.

5. Updates, corrections & sunset policy

Content may be updated when:

  • New clinical guidelines or safety alerts are issued.
  • Medicines are launched, re-labelled, restricted, or withdrawn.
  • Diagnostic protocols or reference ranges change.
  • We receive credible feedback from doctors, users or partners.

If we discover an inaccuracy that could affect health decisions, we aim to correct or temporarily unpublish the content as quickly as reasonably possible.

How to report an issue If you are a healthcare professional and notice any factual error or outdated recommendation on RxnCure, please email care@rxncure.com with references. Our team will review and respond.

6. Neutrality across partners & brands

RxnCure operates a hybrid marketplace – we list our own inventory as well as third-party pharmacies, labs, doctors and emergency partners. Our clinical content is kept independent from commercial arrangements:

  • No brand or partner can pay to alter safety information or medical advice.
  • Comparative information (e.g. alternatives) is written using clinical judgement and availability, not sponsorship.
  • Sponsored banners and offers are clearly marked as promotional.

Commercial teams cannot change medical content without going through the editorial and clinical review steps outlined in this policy.

7. What we expect from users

To maintain a safe environment, we request that users:

  • Do not use RxnCure to self-medicate with prescription-only medicines.
  • Share accurate health history with doctors and partners on the platform.
  • Follow prescription, dosage and investigation advice given by registered practitioners.
  • Immediately seek emergency care offline in case of red-flag symptoms.
  • Report suspicious listings, fake prescriptions or unsafe practices to us.

Detailed responsibilities for doctors, labs, pharmacies and emergency partners are covered in their respective onboarding and panel-specific terms.
